In today’s world, there exists a dichotomy so noticeable between man and nature that thesuperimposition of the two reals seems completely out of the realm of possibility. Man, andnature exist in contrast to one another, as opposing forces, so distinct that a unison of the two worlds seems impossible. But in nature’s workings, you begin to notice certain nuances, attempts to get closer to mankind, to restore, to reconnect with mankind- to become one with it. In nature’s need to connect with us, it begins to build restorative systems to allow for a unison to form. But the exploitation of nature and its resources runs so rampant that nature simply cannot keep up. In nature’s despair, the Brooklyn Bridge has been known since its conception to be a connector- of people, places and experience. Today, the Brooklyn Bridge will unite man and nature, once and for all.
